- Wind the strings correctly. When you are winding the strings around the tuning pegs, make sure to make tight wraps and to avoid leaving any slack.
- Lube your tuning pegs regularly. Use a small amount of lubricant on the threads of the tuning pegs to help them turn smoothly and prevent them from wearing out.
