4 Best Boss Waterproof Soundbar Review in 2020

The 4 Best Boss Waterproof Soundbar Review in 2022

Boss Audio makes some awesome audio equipment and today I am getting a bit more “specific” as we are looking at some of the best Boss waterproof soundbars that are on the market right now. I have looked at waterproof soundbars before so if you want to see other brands as well as Boss check that one out. If you want to use a soundbar outside, you simply must make sure it can take on the elements! No matter if you want one for the pool, your golf cart, or just for the backyard!

A Few Things To Know!

Before we jump into the world of Boss waterproof soundbars, there are a few things I want to put into you guy’s minds before we really take a deep dive into this.

Connectivity: Most of the soundbars you get these days offer Bluetooth connectivity, but it is always worthwhile doing a double check to make sure they do. The last thing you want is to have to be tethered by a cable. In some cases, a cable is fine, but I would always advise that you go for a Bluetooth soundbar.

Size Matters: If you are going to be putting your soundbar on a boat, golf cart, or something like that. You may have to think about the size of it. Hey, we all would love a giant ass soundbar that rocks so loud people complain! However, it may not be the best thing for where you need the soundbar to go so that is something to keep in mind.

4 Best Boss Waterproof Soundbar Reviews

I have had the pleasure of using a few of these, however, I have also picked a few that I think look pretty damn solid as well. These are four of the most popular models that Boss has on the market right now. It is worth noting that two of these are technically pushing what is considered a “soundbar” but I think they are more than fitting.

1. BOSS Audio Systems BRT27A ATV UTV Sound Bar System

2. BOSS Audio Systems BRT34A ATV UTV Sound Bar System

3. BOSS Audio Systems BRRF46 Reflex 1000 Watt, 46 Inch, Bluetooth, Amplified, Overhead Speaker System

4. Boss Audio Systems ATV25B ATV UTV Waterproof Sound System

1. BOSS Audio Systems BRT27A ATV UTV Sound Bar System

At 27 inches wide this BOSS Audio Systems BRT27A ATV UTV Sound Bar System is ideal if you are looking for something that packs a bit of a punch without taking up a great deal of space. This is a great size if you want one to install on something like an ATV or a golf cart or even just for out in the yard. This one is a very popular model and when I picked it up it was a couple of hundred bucks which I thought was a tad pricy. I like the style of this as it looks cool, but the fact it comes with the clamps you need to hook it onto something like an ATV is great. However, you may need to get some additional clamps or something to hook it up to where you like.

This has three pairs of three-inch speakers and this lets this thing rock pretty damn loud. If you are looking for a Boss waterproof soundbar I have to assume where you are going to be using it is going to be rather noisy. Well, You will not have any trouble hearing this over an ATV or even the kids messing around in the pool for example. Connecting this to my phone via Bluetooth was super simple and in all, I had no trouble using this thing at all which I was very happy about.

Pros:

  • I liked the more compact design of it
  • It is very easy to connect to your phone
  • The bass is pretty damn deep
  • It has a great reputation online
  • It is very solid in its design

Cons:

  • It can be hard to track down
  • The asking price for this is all over the place

What Other People Are Saying

This has a great reputation online and I can see why as I myself think it is great. If you want to get a better idea of what this is all about check out this video review which is great. Not only can you get an idea of the size of this thing, but you can also hear how loud it is and how solid that bass is as well.

As far as I am concerned this is a solid waterproof soundbar and if you can find one for a good price, I do not think you will be disappointed with this. The BOSS Audio Systems BRT27A ATV UTV Sound Bar System is made very well, it is made with ATV’s in mind so I have no doubt in my mind that this is going to give you many years of use and be able to take a server +beating as well. Plus, the sound quality this produces is pretty spectacular as well.

2. BOSS Audio Systems BRT34A ATV UTV Sound Bar System

Doesn’t this look familiar? Is what you may be asking yourself right now. The reason for that is what we have here with the BOSS Audio Systems BRT34A ATV UTV Sound Bar System is a Boss waterproof soundbar that is the “bigger brother” of the one we just looked at. At 34 inches it is nice and long (that’s what she said) so it is great if you want something with a bit more of an imposing look for your ATV, pool, or whatever. You may be looking at as much as 500 bucks for this which is no small chunk of change. I like the style of this as well as the smaller version we just looked at.

Sound-wise I think that what this offers is pretty darn good. As it is larger it has eight 3-inch speakers that are made to the highest Boss standards and as a result, the bass and the volume this produces is pretty awesome! I found that even at the louder volumes the sound quality never got tiny or squeaky in any way. Boss makes solid audio equipment and the pictures really do not do justice how solid and high quality this thing feels when you are holding it. It does come with a little remote which is easy enough to use. I though found it better to just set the volume at what you like and use your phone for everything else.

Pros:

  • It looks really badass
  • The sound quality is great in every regard
  • It can take anything mother nature can throw at it
  • Some might like the larger side of it
  • Great for those looking for something for an ATV or golf cart

Cons:

  • It is a tad on the expensive side
  • The remote has a very cheap feel to it

What Other People Are Saying

On Amazon, people seem to be complaining about the installation of this which I do not get. However, I found this video showcase. which is a great watch if you are interested in this soundbar. While the video is great in that it shows how to install this and it is not that hard by the way. I also found this in the comments section from the guy who made the video. “Yes still very happy. Going to buy another one to put in my jeep also”

I was very impressed with what I saw and heard here. The sound quality really is great and I am wracking my brain even trying to think of anything negative to say about the BOSS Audio Systems BRT34A ATV UTV Sound Bar System in that regard. The price may be a bit high and that remote may feel a tad cheap. However, for the most part, this is one solid piece of kit that is going to rock no matter what you need it for.

3. BOSS Audio Systems BRRF46 Reflex 1000 Watt, 46 Inch, Bluetooth, Amplified, Overhead Speaker System

I will admit that I have not actually tested out the BOSS Audio Systems BRRF46 Reflex 1000 Watt, 46 Inch, Bluetooth, Amplified, Overhead Speaker System myself. However, we can all agree that this thing looks awesome! I am not sure if this is some kind of soundbar or if it is a Batman utility belt! At 46 inches in width, this thing is a bit of a beast, but from what I have read it is designed to go above head… whatever that really means. It is being sold for over 500 bucks so it is far from cheap, but this is one of the more interesting Boss waterproof soundbars out there. Actually, I guess it is kind of debatable if you could call this a soundbar as it is not the same shape, but I think it is worthy of a spot on our list today.

One thing you have to say about Boss is that they do not do things half-heartedly. In looking at the “tech” behind this. I have no doubt that this will rock! The two pairs of 6 and a half inch 1000-watt speakers along with the amplifier are really going to produce some impressive sound from this. It also comes with a little remote and you can connect it to your phone, iPod, or whatever via Bluetooth. I am sure this is going to be nice and easy to do as well. The more I read about this the more I am sure the sound quality is going to be great.

Pros:

  • I like the way it looks
  • The tech specs seem impressive when you read them
  • It is nice and wide
  • It looks to me like it could take a beating
  • The asking price when you think about it is not too bad

Cons:

  • It is designed for an ATV so keep that in mind
  • Some people have questioned if it is actually 1000-watts

What Other People Are Saying

There are some great customer reviews as well as a few that do question the sound quality and the quality of that remote. One review that I took notice of had this to say, “The sound quality is great for the price point, and being 5 different sound settings is very nice to go from high bass to anywhere In between” Which I think is a great thing to read. It is very interesting the reception to this appears to be mixed as when you read the tech inside this thing it does sound very impressive.

I think this looks pretty impressive. It does say that it is designed for the roll cage of an ATV, but I am sure with a little working around you could probably have this where ever you want. I have never been let down by Boss, but I must admit the mixed reviews did throw me off a bit. The remote I get as 9/10 these are cheaply made. However, some folks did question the sound quality. So, be sure to do a ton of research if you are thinking of getting this one.

4. Boss Audio Systems ATV25B ATV UTV Waterproof Sound System

Last, but no means least we have this very interesting looking Boss Audio Systems ATV25B ATV UTV Waterproof Sound System. I know that this just like the last one is debatable if we can call it a soundbar or not, as it is not “technically” a bar. However, it has the Boss name and I feel it is more than fitting with what we are looking for and that is the best Boss waterproof soundbar. It has a very interesting look to it, for me, it looks like a pipe or something you would find in a Super Mario Bros video game! With that being said I do like the style of this as it is kind of cool. What I also really like about this is the fact that as I write this you can pick it up for close to 100 bucks. So if you are on a budget and do not want to spend several hundred, this could be for you.

I had a good look over the specs and the 450-watts 6.5 inch speakers sound decent enough, especially considering the asking price. Boss has used 1.5-inch high-performance soft dome tweeters which I have seen them use in some of their higher-priced speakers so that is cool. It looks like you could connect this very easily to something like a golf cart, ATV, or even have it outside ready for when you want to have a party or even mess around in the pool. Boss says that it can handle the bad weather no problem so that along with the solid looking body I am sure will make certain you get many years of use out of this. It is Bluetooth, but you can also connect it to a device with a jack if you like.

Pros:

  • I like the interesting design of it
  • The specs seem decent enough
  • Many positive reviews on Amazon
  • It is made with getting wet and muddy in mind
  • The asking price is fantastic

Cons:

  • Not sure how good the sound quality will be at louder volumes
  • It may be a bit “cheap” compared to other soundbars

What Other People Are Saying

With close 1000 review to this is sitting at 4 stars on Amazon. I took notice of many of the reviews that talk about the sound quality. With one saying this, “The sound quality is amazing . It is loud enough as to where he was able to listen to it while driving his four-wheeler.” To me, if this is loud enough so you can hear it when screwing around on your ATV, it must be pretty good. Some folks do complain about the build quality, but for the most part, people seem pretty high on this.

I would love to get my hands on this thing. I like how Boss has these various waterproof sound systems and they do not feel the need to be stuck to making them all look like a standard soundbar. This one here is at the lower end of the pricing spectrum so you do have to come into it with an open mind. You simply are not going to get the same kind of sound quality and build quality that you will a Boss waterproof soundbar that costs $400 bucks or more.

What Is The Best Boss Waterproof Soundbar?

I have looked at tons of soundbars so I feel I have a good idea of what makes one special or not. In the four that we have looked at today, I feel that the first two the BOSS Audio Systems BRT27A ATV UTV Sound Bar System and the BOSS Audio Systems BRT34A ATV UTV Sound Bar System you cannot go wrong with. I would say, go for the one that fits what you need it for best as there is a fair difference between the sizes of these. Either of these could be classed as the best Boss waterproof soundbar for me.

The other two that I picked for this are certainly interesting and the last one may be worth thinking about if you want to be as close to that 100 bucks mark as possible.
