Yes, Starcaster is made by Fender. Starcaster is a brand of electric guitars and basses produced by Fender Musical Instruments Corporation since 1969. The Starcaster was originally designed as a semi-hollowbody guitar to compete with Gibson’s ES-335, but it has since evolved into its own unique model.
Starcaster guitars are known for their semi-hollowbody construction, which gives them a warmer, more mellow sound than solidbody guitars. They are also known for their unique offset body shape, which is similar to the Fender Jazzmaster and Jaguar models.
Starcaster guitars have been used by many famous musicians, including Pete Townshend of The Who, Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth, and Nels Cline of Wilco.
In recent years, Fender has reintroduced the Starcaster brand to the market with a new line of guitars and basses. These new Starcaster models are designed to be more affordable and accessible to musicians of all levels.
Here are some of the most popular Starcaster models:
- Starcaster Classic
